The Beginning
Wily’s robots attack an airport and have plans to take over the airport so Dr Wily can control the city. Dr. Wily and Proto Man watch as Cuts Man and crew clean up Kennedy National Airport.
Mega Man and Rush race to the airport to stop them. Mega Man blows up Bomb Man before Proto Man steps in. Roll arrives on scene and stops Fire Man. Cut Man and Guts Man team and derail a train. It’s about to land on Roll before Mega Man pushes her out of the way and ends up defeated.
Rush flies Mega Man back to Dr Light and Roll follows. Dr Light tells the story about him and Dr. Wily being partners. They both dream of a world full of robots to aid mankind. They both build a robot and it is a failure. Dr. Light tells Dr. Wily to destroy the plans but he claims Dr. Light is just jealous and takes the robot and escapes.
Dr. Wily finishes the robot and he later becomes Proto Man.
Three months later, Dr. Light completes robot Rock. He is programmed to feel like a human. Dr. Light also built a robot named Roll. She is Rock’s sister. Dr Light also unveils a logger robot named Cuts Man. A construction robot named Guts Man and a Ice Man that freezes anything. Dr Wily invades Dr Lights building and takes control of the 3 robots.
Dr. Wily captures Rock and Roll. Rock learns that him and Proto Man are brothers. Rock tells Dr Wily that he will tell him everything and tells about Dr Lights “Super Warrior Robots”. Dr Wily knows that robots can’t lie and Proto Man frees Rock. Rock tricked Dr Wily and escapes with Roll.
Dr Wily tells Rock that he has to rebuild Rock as a great robot warrior to combat Dr. Wily. Dr. Wily tells Rock, “with your mixture of conscience, compassion and self determination, you’ll always have an edge over other robots.” Dr Wily calls this upgrade Mega Man. He also presents Mega Man with Rush, a K-9 companion and Mega Mans transportation.
Mega Man awakes from his surgery and Dr Light has fixed him. Mega Man travels back to the airport to stop Dr Wily and Proto Man. He takes care of all of Dr Wily’s robots before Dr Wily escapes with Proto Man.
Dr Light and his robots repair the airport and gets congratulated by the mayor.
